THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Celebrates 8,000 Episodes — See When Your Favorites First Appeared!

Congratulations to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as the soap airs its 8,000th episode on Friday, Jan. 4! “The 8,000th episode is classic B&B drama,” the soap’s executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell said in a statement. “The story arc centers around an event so profound it sends shockwaves throughout the lives of the Forresters, Spencers, Avants, Spectras, and Logans for years to come.”

B&B first premiered back on March 23, 1987, and last year celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark the momentous occasion of their 8,000th episode, the soap gathered together some of the cast to show off the episode in which they made their debut. With the constantly changing cast of characters and actors, there are only two stars who have been around from the very beginning: John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). “Working with him from the very first day of the show ’til now, 31 years later, has been an absolute pleasure and honor,” Lang declared on Instagram. “I am looking forward to many more years to come!”

It will probably come as no surprise that Annika Noelle (Hope) is one of the newest cast members of B&B, but some fans might not remember that Alley Mills (Pam) actually appeared before Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy).
