Victor Leaves Genoa City!
Sharon was stunned when Adam confessed that he’d slept with his gay lawyer in order to manipulate him. Remembering her own sordid past, she promised not to judge, and the two agreed to be each other’s “bad choice” sponsor. Still, that didn’t stop Adam from scheming at Newman. When he suggested to Victor that Victoria lay low because of the SEC scandal, Michael accused him of trying to oust his sister from the company. Later, Michael and Nick speculated that Adam was the real whistleblower, although Adam pinned the offense on one of Victor’s assistants. Meanwhile, Victoria vowed to fight the SEC, even though Victor warned her against being too emotional. Undeterred, she held a press conference. Surprisingly, Deacon defended her, but, unhappy to see the cad so cozy with his wife, J.T. punched him out! When Nick suggested Victoria temporarily take a backseat at Newman, she decided to accompany J.T. to New York, where he had a new job! With Victoria out, Victor gave Nick the task of running Newman. After he saw how friendly Adam was getting with Sharon, Nick made his first executive decision — sending his little brother out of town on a business trip to keep him away from his ex!

Victor Says “Adios”!
Nikki was disappointed when Victor refused to answer her question on why he’d tried to find her the night she left town. When he suggested they focus on their future, she sought advice from Katherine, worrying they’d slip back into their old patterns of fighting. Katherine suggested Nikki stop dithering and make a decision! Meanwhile, Victor was shocked when Ashley blasted him for coming to the ranch unannounced! Furious, he threatened to throw her out, but, fearing she’d have another mental relapse, quickly backed down. Ash found an ally in Phyllis, who was struggling with her own anger over what Victor indirectly did to Summer. Later, Victor decided to give everyone some space by leaving town!

Billy Goes On The Warpath!
Jack arrived at Restless Style to warn his kid brother that he was in over his head. Yet when he realized Billy was penning an article slamming Victor, he decided to help! Although Jack talked about Victor’s nefarious business deeds, he refused to let Billy write about Patty. Stubbornly, Billy added the details about Patty after Jack left! Later, Billy hired Sharon, with both agreeing to forget about their past fling and keep their relationship strictly business. Interestingly, the new publisher couldn’t do the same with Chloe, who he kissed! The smooch reignited Chloe’s obsession with the hunk and prompted an explosive argument with Chance. Hoping to smooth ruffled feathers, Chloe offered Chance advice on dealing with Phillip. Meanwhile, Billy received mixed results with his first issue of Restless Style.

Around Town
Ryder was furious when he caught Jana with a torn photo of him as a child, insisting he had no idea who’d been with him in the picture. After going to work at the coffeehouse, Ryder refused to serve Deacon, which made Lauren think she’d misjudged him. Back at the apartment, Jana and Amber were spooked when they pulled out the Ouija board, and the word “dead” kept popping up, which Jana attributed to Ryder. Later, Lauren hired Amber at Fenmore’s Boutique, while Gloria and Jeff were thrilled when Michael told them they’d receive a huge payout from Newman. Meanwhile, Paul persuaded Dr. Emily to stick around to treat Patty and hoped she’d stay even longer after she was offered a job at Genoa City University. Across town, Lily took a chance on love again by making love with Cane. Yet their happiness was short-lived when she was struck with a fever!
