Brad Dies!
Jack was horrified to find that he’d accidentally shot his brother while trying to rescue Katie from Ralph. The mafioso was arrested, but Brad later died in the hospital before seeing his son that Katie had just delivered. On the day of Brad’s funeral, Liberty overheard Jack admitting to Janet that he’d had a couple beers the night of the shooting. Henry thought he was hallucinating when it appeared he was being haunted by Brad! Obeying the ghost’s orders, Henry delivered an old notebook of Brad’s to Katie. She, however, wanted nothing to do with Henry, whom she blamed for having brought Ralph into their lives. Katie did, however, eventually accept the notebook. Craig spoke at the funeral, followed by Katie, who read from an essay titled “My Hero” that Brad had written about Jack as a child. Revealing the name on the Post-It attached to the notebook, Katie declared that her son would be christened Jacob Bradley Snyder. Overwhelmed with guilt, Jack rushed out of the church… and ran right into an about-to-enter Carly!

Carly Learns The Truth!
Craig and Rosanna were surprised by Carly’s homecoming, and things got awkward when the newly-sober woman wanted to pick up with her fiancé where they’d left off. Thrilled to have his mom back, Parker wondered aloud if Craig and Rosanna had come clean… just as Carly walked in and asked what they were all talking about! Meanwhile, Jack turned his gun and badge in to Margo and — after jotting a note to Janet — left town to get his head together. Brad’s spirit visited Katie, who seemed to sense his presence. Carly brought Craig and Rosanna to an open AA meeting where she thanked them both for their support. Rosanna felt so guilty she dashed away… but that guilt didn’t prevent her from falling into bed with Craig again! He promised to tell Carly about their affair, but she put the pieces together on her own and angrily threw the pair out of her house. Carly tried confiding in Janet but wound up being blasted and reminded that not everything was about her! While in Philadelphia looking for a bar in which Brad once worked, Jack ran into Ben Harris, who was running a food bank. After catching up a little, they ran into a suicidal man about to jump off a bridge. Jack went to talk the guy down but then considered joining him!

Holden Dumps Lily!
Damian refused to annul his marriage to Lily, and Maeve attempted to convince Holden he should move on with her. He declined, but Maeve led Lily to believe that she and Holden were lovers. Later, Holden was legally declared alive again by a judge who then informed Lily she couldn’t have two husbands. Even while urging Lily to make up her own mind, Damian made it clear he thought they should be together. Holden told Lily he wouldn’t live in Damian’s shadow anymore, and later decided to end their marriage. Lily reluctantly accepted his choice, and the judge granted them an annulment.

Luke Gets Jealous
As Noah began shooting his student film, a breakup scene hit too close to home for Luke, who quickly left the set. Later, Luke was on his way to work when he learned that Noah and the film crew were celebrating their first successful day of shooting. Showing up at the party, Luke saw a drunk Mason praising Noah’s genius and, feeling like an intruder, beat a hasty retreat. Mason later put his arm around Noah, who quickly removed it. Luke returned to accuse Mason of wanting to steal his beau, refusing to listen when Noah dubbed his advisor harmless.
