Under pressure from Ryan, Erica and Zach, Adam remembered shooting Stuart! Although Scott swore he had no interest in avenging his dad’s death, Adam shocked his nephew and Annie by turning himself in. But before confessing, he had to be hospitalized due to the drugs David had given him. Angie confronted the devious doctor but agreed to keep quiet when he informed her Jesse had been in on the plan all along. Adam resolved to keep the secret for the sake of his family. At his and Annie’s wedding ceremony, Ryan made a speech invoking Stuart’s memory that caused Adam to pass out! While Zach worked to save the patriarch, Annie and David appeared to Adam in purgatory as an angel and the devil, respectively. Once he woke up, the minister pronounced Adam and Annie man and wife. Refusing to help Ryan and Erica prove Adam shot Stuart, JR dropped a bomb on the pair — Annie is pregnant! Ryan refused to believe the news, since he’d been told it would be almost impossible because of her miscarriage. Annie faked a fall down the stairs and told her husband she thought she’d lost the baby. Convinced Annie was lying, Ryan arranged for Jake to be her doctor. But after examining the new Mrs. Chandler, Jake had a surprise for everyone.
Madison’s Alive!
Angie was made chief of staff at the hospital but was in no mood to celebrate with her husband. Why? She felt guilty about the promotion because it came as a result of having struck a deal with the devil (aka David). As Natalia tried — and failed — to help Jessie earn Angie’s forgiveness, the family’s worst nightmare came true when Madison turned up alive and well! When she claimed it was time to take responsibility for her actions, Jesse offered to take her to the police station. But Frankie later found his dad unconscious! Waking up, Jesse said Madison had been kidnapped!
Amanda’s Betrayal!
Although Jake and Amanda wanted to be together, they couldn’t make love because of her contract with David. The brunette readied herself for insemination but feared she wouldn’t get pregnant right away and would have to live at Wildwind indefinitely. David played on these fears, but Jake assured her that their love would survive this. David drove Amanda to the fertility clinic, arranging for their car to run out of gas. Knowing she dreaded the idea of waiting another month to get pregnant, David suggested they just make a baby the old-fashioned way… and she reluctantly agreed!
Aidan’s Deception
Aidan kept Kendall in the dark about his feelings for her, but that wasn’t the only thing he hid — the P.I. intentionally kept Zach and Kendall from receiving one another’s messages! Despite Aidan’s best efforts to keep them apart, Zach met Kendall at a chapel for a brief reunion. Kendall and Aidan moved on to a boarding house where they rented a room from Kat, who shared a past with the Brit (and quickly realized he had feelings for his fellow fugitive!). Kendall was disheartened at the news of Adam and Annie’s wedding and decided to turn herself in, but Aidan resolved not to lose her again. He was unintentionally aided by Zach who convinced his wife to stick to the plan. On her pal’s behalf, Kat sent fake messages from Zach that stoked Kendall’s jealousy toward Liza.
In Other News
Tad and Marissa rallied around JR to try to keep him from getting drunk after he learned that a friend from his cancer-support group had died. Meanwhile, Bailey was caught between two opposing forces when Liza and Damon each had harsh words regarding the other’s true motivations where Stuart’s future was concerned.
