When did we both get so big? But seriously, it feels like this last stretch (is it still a stretch of the due date is less than two weeks away?) has been a bullet train. I don't feel ready in the way that I did with Eli, but I'm starting to think that "ready" is for first time parents who don't know any better. Or maybe that was just me. I feel much less grounded in my ideas about birth and babies than I did before. Maybe because I know enough now to know that you can never really know. I also know how little all the "stuff" matters. Maybe it's because there's less (if any) newness to the stuff. Maybe I just think too much. #38weeks #pregnant
