Y&R Gets Real For Upcoming Wedding!

Watch for real-life wedding planner David Tutera, host of WE’s MY FAIR WEDDING, to stop by THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS on Wednesday, January 22, and Thursday, January 23. While it’s likely he’ll be on board to help Neil and Leslie out with their big day (they are recently engaged, after all!), Tutera tells Soaps In Depth that he’ll be sharing screentime with Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) and Judith Chapman (Gloria). “Tracey’s amazing,” he says. “And Judith is a character! I wasn’t quite sure if she was playing the role of Gloria or if she’s like that in real life!”

The reality star, who also executive produces his series on WE, says he wasn’t sure what the policy was regarding ad-libbing on Y&R, but when he saw one of his scene partners doing it he decided to hop on board! “When you’re doing a scene with Judith, she keeps going on and on,” Tutera chuckles. “I’m like, ‘Are you done? When do I start?’ Then, I realized I had to start doing what she was doing!”

How would Tutera sum up his Y&R experience? “Painless, fun, easy, and exciting,” he says. “I’d absolutely consider [doing this again],” he shares. “This is something I found really enjoyable.”
