At the hospital, Chelsea fretted to Chloe that she wouldn’t be a good mother, prompting the fashionista to order her BFF to knock it off with the insecurity! Across town, Hilary brought an ailing Cane some chicken soup. After she spilled it on him, the hunk whipped off his shirt… just in time for the newly arrived Jill to wonder what the hell was going on between the two! Even though Hilary explained that it had been an accident, Jill cynically wondered if Cane’s assistant had an ulterior motive (aside from getting a peek at Cane’s chest, that is!) Later, Jill wondered if Cane’s marriage to Lily was okay — or if he only wished it were. Then the mama bear tracked Hilary down to warn her to keep her hands off Cane! Meanwhile, Neil continued his hypnosis session, recalling going to a motel where he and Rose continued to drink. Once out of his trance, Neil expressed relief… until he realized that Rose had died on the same evening that he’d left her passed out in the motel! At Newman Enterprises, Victor was furious when he was ambushed by reporters demanding to know about Adam’s rape charge. Inside the office, Adam showed Leslie a newspaper with a glaring headline touting the rape charge, and ordered her to make the scandal to go away! Upon arriving, Victor asked Adam if he was guilty of raping Melanie. Angry, Adam blasted his father for hiring the vixen in the first place! After Leslie left, Adam revealed that Billy had recorded him trying to buy off Melanie. Victor warned him about tainting the Newman name, prompting Adam to remind him of all the scandals The Mustache had been involved in, including the time Tricia Dennison had claimed Victor had raped her! Later, Adam went to Dylan’s loft, hoping to ask Chelsea to be a character witness for him. When Dylan revealed that Chelsea was in the hospital because she was having contractions, Adam expressed surprise given his ex’s due date. After warning Adam that he needed to fight the rape charges without Chelsea, Dylan brought the mom-to-be back to the loft decorated in wedding balloons!
