AS THE WORLD TURNS’ fan favorite Michael Park (Jack) has landed a three-episode arc on NBC’s CHICAGO P.D. Speaking to Soaps In Depth directly from the Windy City where the series is produced, Park shares the details about his exciting new role, which begins airing Wednesday, October 15, at 10 p.m.

“Asher is a diamond dealer who hires Antonio Dawson, John Seda’s character, to work private security for him,” Park reveals. “He’s a bit of a rough guy — he’s rough on his wife — and Dawson is not used to taking orders from someone of my background, so there will be some tension there between the two of them for sure.”

While Park did not get to work with fellow ATWT alum Jesse Lee Soffer (Will), who plays brash detective Jay Halstead on the drama, they did discover that they share yet another connection. “India de Beaufort (ONE TREE HILL) plays my wife in this, and she’s wonderful,” Park reveals. “She and Jesse know each other very well, so India and I got to know each other through that one degree of separation.”

In other great news, Park has begun rehearsals for NBC’s upcoming production of Peter Pan Live as Cecco, a pirate who will be a member of Captain Hook’s (played by Christopher Walken) crew. The beloved musical is scheduled to air Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. EST. For more from the star, look for his upcoming Keeping Track feature in Soaps In Depth.
