With the kidnappers pressuring them for the ransom for Scott’s safe return, Lauren is distraught, and Michael is struggling to keep his wife from falling apart completely. They pay a visit to Jill to see how she’s recovering from her heart attack, and decide to broach a very touchy subject. “Can you lend us the money?” Lauren asks through tears as Michael holds her tightly. But what they don’t realize is that Colin’s scheming has left her flat broke. “I’m so sorry,” Jill confesses to her sister, “I can’t!” Will Lauren be able to raise the cash she needs to save her son’s life?
