Back at work, Rick reveals to Zende the reason why they returned from Paris so suddenly. “We were gonna stay longer,” he admits, “Maya had another shoot. But we both missed Lizzie so much and Maya had to get back home to our daughter.” At home, Nicole updates her sister on recent events, leaving out the bit where she’s growing a little too attached to the baby she carried for her and is now regretting giving up. “She told me that I may not be able to have another child,” Nicole confesses. But Maya urges her sister to remain strong. “You gave us Lizzie,” she says, her voice choking with emotion. “And you will give Zende a little girl or boy just like her.” But has Nicole decided to take back the baby she gave birth to?
