THE BAY, the wickedly entertaining Web series that took home this year’s Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding New Approaches — Drama Series, is returning with eight new episodes for what’s sure to become a December to remember.

Picking up where the story left off nearly a year ago, Bay City socialite Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans, Kayla, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) remains behind bars and facing murder charges while her son, Peter, is rebounding from his emotional break-up with his Mrs. Robinson (aka Janice; played by Lilly Melgar, ex-Lily, GENERAL HOSPITAL) by getting all hot and bothered with his other super hot ex, Vivian. What he doesn’t know is that Janice has just been brutally raped and is now being verbally assaulted by Lianna (Jade Harlow; ex-Sheryl, DAYS), who found out about their affair. Making matters worse, Sara’s conniving husband, Steve Jensen (Matthew Ashford, ex-Jack, DAYS; ex-Tom, GH) is scheming to get his hands on her money while a volatile John Blackwell (Ronn Moss, ex-Ridge, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) is plotting to take down the Garretts in an even darker way.

Can Sara get released in time to save her family AND her fortune? The answers are coming beginning with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, December 1, and another on Thursday, December 3.
