Jordi Vilasuso (Tony) is appearing with another GUIDING LIGHT alum in a new movie!
The Invitation stars Tammy Blanchard (Drew) as Eden, who throws a very unusual dinner party that takes a disturbing turn. Vilasuso plays Miguel, one of her guests.
“I’ve worked with Tammy twice in the past year,” he tells Soaps In Depth. “She did HOKE, [a pilot for FX with Paul Giamatti that wasn’t picked up], and The Invitation.”
Naturally, while on set, the pair reminisced about their experiences in Springfield. “We discussed GL, living in New York…” Vilasuso recalls. “She’s awesome. Big fan. Really enjoyed working with her.”
The Invitation has already debuted at the South By Southwest Film Festival to great critical acclaim, and is set to release in theaters and VOD on Friday, Mar. 25. But you can watch a trailer for the eerie film right now!
Vilasuso, who has also appeared on ALL MY CHILDREN as Griffin, is set to join the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Dario Hernandez in the coming months. For more on him, and your other GL faves, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine!
