DAYS OF OUR LIVES Cuts Brandon Beemer, Martha Madison, Sal Stowers, and Marie Wilson From the Cast!
Behind the scenes shake-ups at DAYS OF OUR LIVES has resulted in four actors being let go from the soap!
New DAYS headwriters Dena Higley and Ryan Quan have wasted no time in making big changes, with Daytime Confidential reporting that they will be writing out Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Martha Madison (Belle), Sal Stowers (Lani), and Marie Wilson (Summer).
As a grifter out to con Maggie, Summer’s storyline could possibly have been planned to be short-term anyway. And while giving Abe a long-lost daughter could have been developed, DAYS never really did much with Lani. But Shawn and Belle are legacy characters who were brought back for the soap’s 50th anniversary last year, so their loss is the most surprising.
