Soaps In Depth has been sitting on this news for a few weeks, but the cat is out of the bag now: THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS real-life couple Thad Luckinbill (J.T.) and Amelia Heinle (Victoria) are expanding their family! Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael) announced the happy news via Twitter. "Just found out that Amelia and Thad Luckinbill are having another baby! A little girl this time!" he posts. The couple are already parents to 20-month-old Rowe and August, 13, Heinle's son with ex-husband Michael Weatherly (Cooper, LOVING). Congratulations!

ABC Vet Joins Cast!		Will Damon shake up Oakdale?
Look for GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Stuart Damon (ex-Alan) to make his way to AS THE WORLD TURNS this September! Soaps In Depth has learned that he will be playing a new character who is very connected to an Oakdale resident.

Forbes March (Mason, AS THE WORLD TURNS) will be hosting a fan event on Saturday, July 25, from 1-4 p.m. EST. It will take place at the Ahepa Lodge, which is located at 1156 Jasper Street in Largo, FL, 33770. Tickets are $50 in advance or $75 at the door. Veteran Joins Cast!		Who could Maeve be connected to?
Her daytime resume already includes roles as ANOTHER WORLD's Paulina, DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Adrienne and Bonnie and GUIDING LIGHT's Beth. Now, Judi Evans is headed to AS THE WORLD TURNS! The actress will debut as the mysterious Maeve on Wednesday, August 26. No other information about her character or storyline is available.

Where Is Phillip IV?		Driscoll was cast on Y&R in May.
Finally, an air date has been announced for John Driscoll's debut as THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Phillip Chancellor IV, aka Chance! The former GUIDING LIGHT star — he last aired as Coop in February — will make his Genoa City debut on Thursday, July 16. We're sure he'll have lots to get caught up on when he arrives in town, too!

As reported in the new issue of Soaps In Depth, on sale now, AS THE WORLD TURNS has cast daytime newcomer Vanessa Ray as Janet's sister, Teri. Ray makes her way to Oakdale on Wednesday, July 22.

Congratulations to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Kyle Lowder (Rick), who is about to become a father! The actor and his wife, DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Arianne Zucker (Nicole), are expecting their first child in December! "We are happy to confirm the news!" says a spokesperson for DAYS.

A Baby Story!		West adds another daughter to her brood.
AS THE WORLD TURNS' Maura West is a mom for the fifth time! The actress and her husband, Scott DeFreitas (ex-Andy), have welcomed a baby girl into the world, expanding the family that already includes Benjamin, 12, Joseph, 9, Katherine, 7, and Basil, 2. West's pal, Martha Byrne (Andrea, GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Lily, ATWT), announced the happy news via her Facebook page last night: "Congrats to Maura and Scott on their baby girl!" West began her maternity leave in late May, but due to ATWT's advanced taping schedule, she will air into July. UPDATE: A spokesperson for ATWT say, "Birdie West DeFreitas was born on June 16 at 5:33 p.m. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. and is 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great."

Soap Casts Celebrity Guest Stars!		Fairchild certainly knows how to play a socialite snob!
Morgan Fairchild (Sydney, THE CITY; Jennifer, SEARCH FOR TOMORROW) makes a splashy return to daytime later this summer when she plays Dottie, a Beverly Hills socialite and pal of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Stephanie. The actress — who also starred on TV in the MyNetwork telenovela FASHION HOUSE in 2006 — will appear for four episodes starting Monday, August 10, when Jackie M faces off against Forrester Creations in a fashion show. But Fairchild isn't the only celebrity guest making a B&B appearance during the event! Alan Thicke (Rich Ginger) and Jm J. Bullock (Sergei) return to the soap, along with Melissa Rivers, as the fashion show's celebrity judges! AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL runner-up Samantha Potter will be one of the Jackie M models, as well.

Stars Bumped?		Are Heather's days numbered?
Has THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS taken Vail Bloom (Heather) and Eva Marcille (Tyra) off contract? Insiders are saying that the two ladies have been moved to recurring status with the soap. A spokesperson for Y&R reminds that they don't comment on actors' contracts, while a rep for Bloom insists that she's still with the show.

New DAYS Ahead!		Lesbian, schmesbian. As Carly, Chappell was buried alive!
Crystal Chappell (Olivia) has her post-GUIDING LIGHT gig lined up already! While Soaps In Depth has learned that the Emmy winner met with THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS co-executive producer Paul Rauch in late May about possibly joining that soap's cast, it's DAYS OF OUR LIVES who will have the talented star on their roster come September! Chappell is reprising the role of Dr. Carly Manning, which she played from 1990-’93. "I'm happy and sad," Chappell posts on her Twitter page. "So wanted Otalia to go on. Can't say that enough. But looking forward to new challenges." Chappell is due to return to the screen in October.

It's A Girl!		Leccia is a mom!
Congratulations to GUIDING LIGHT's Jessica Leccia (Natalia), who has become a first-time mother! The actress and husband Brian Malloy welcomed daughter Ivy Lola into the world on June 10. The little girl weighed in at 8 lbs., 6 oz. While Leccia is currently on maternity leave from the soap, she is expected to return to work early in order to be part of GL's final episodes.

ABC Vet Is Henry's Mom!		Herring is gonna shake up Oakdale!
AS THE WORLD TURNS confirms that Lynn Herring (ex-Lucy, GENERAL HOSPITAL and PORT CHARLES) is headed to Oakdale as Henry's mother, Audrey! Meanwhile, Michael Woods (ex-Alec Wallace) will return to the soap playing Jay, a shady character connected to Audrey. Herring will make her ATWT debut on Friday, July 24 — and something tells us that Henry won't be too happy to see the alcoholic mother who abandoned her children years ago!

Will Nuke Get Blown Apart?		Forbes March-es into Oakdale this summer.
AS THE WORLD TURNS has tapped former ONE LIFE TO LIVE fan favorite Forbes March (ex-Nash) to play Mason, Noah's college professor. Buzz is that the character is gay but will be more of a mentor to the aspiring filmmaker than the third side to a Noah/Luke love triangle. Watch for March to debut on Tuesday, July 14.

Hearst Whips Back To B&B!		Hearst played Whip for six months in 2002.
It's official! Rick Hearst (Ric, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is heading back to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL! Days after GH confirmed that the Emmy winner will be leaving Port Charles in the coming weeks, B&B has announced that he will be reprising the role of Whip Jones. Hearst returns to the soap on Friday, July 17, when Stephanie brings Whip back to the US from his overseas post at Forrester International to work on Jackie M's new PR campaign.
