GUIDING LIGHT:
As The World Turns The Bold and the Beautiful Guiding Light The Young and the Restless

 Diane Returns!

Diane is sure to shake things up!
Susan Walters is bringing Diane back to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for a visit! Look for Victor's ex to show up in Genoa City on Friday, February 26, and Monday, March 1. Sources tell Soaps In Depth that Kyle, Diane's son with Jack, will most likely also be returning.

 MIAMI Nights

Luckinbill's on late!
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Thad Luckinbill (J.T.) adds another primetime appearance to his resume when he guest-stars on CSI: MIAMI on Monday, February 8. In "Miami, We Have A Problem," the CSI team investigates the murder of a man who was killed in outer space. Ted King (ex-Alcazar, GENERAL HOSPITAL) and David Chisum (ex-Miles, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) also appear in the episode, airing at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.

Lago Puts On His Blue Suede Shoes!

Lago brings Elvis back to life!
If you happen to be in the Chicago area this spring, be sure to visit the Apollo Theater where THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ David Lago (ex-Raul) is giving the performance of his life as Elvis Presley in the musical Million Dollar Quartet. “The story is based on an evening that occurred in December 1956 when Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash all happened to be at Sun Records’ studio in Memphis, and producer Sam Phillips (the man who discovered them) recorded them doing a jam session,” Lago says of the show, now playing. “It’s really entertaining and also educational. You learn a lot about early rock ‘n’ roll and about what was going on in each of their lives at that time.” The Daytime Emmy winner worked hard to capture Elvis’ essence (he’s got the hips down!) and is not only singing, but also playing guitar on stage. For tickets to the show, which runs through May 30, visit www.milliondollarquartetlive.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

 Crash Tested

Ramirez finds herself in a fiery situation on CSI: NY.
Former THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Marisa Ramirez (ex-Carmen) has married Antonio Sabáto Jr. (ex-Dante, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL)! Well, at least on the episode of CSI: NEW YORK airing Wednesday, February 10, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS! The duo guest star in "The Formula" as famed race car driver Davi Santos and his wife, Tania, along with pro driver Danica Patrick, who plays his top competitor. When the racing legend dies in a car explosion on the streets of Manhattan just two days before a Grand Prix race, the CSIs' investigation takes them into the world of professional racing and beyond. “There is some question as to whether or not the wife had something to do with it,” previews Ramirez.

 On The Mend!

Seafood wasn't Goddard's friend!
It looks like THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Daniel Goddard (Cane) took home an unwanted souvenir from this past weekend's Soap Cruise: "In bed sick with a bacterial stomach infection," he posted on his Facebook page today. "How stupid can I be... I ate the seafood on the last day of a cruise? Doc has givin me Cipro." Get better quick, Daniel!

UPDATE: Goddard reports that he was released from the hospital last night! "My wife is the greatest gift that I could have ever been given. She stayed by my bedside for the last 24 hrs," he posted on Facebook. "I'm blessed to have her."

 More DAMAGES for Roszell!

Could Roszell's Deb wind up on the suspect list?
The conclusion of GUIDING LIGHT meant that Jennifer Roszell had to say goodbye to her character, Eleni, forever. But that’s not the case for her recurring role of Deb Shayes — the wife of Tate Donovan’s Tom — on the FX drama DAMAGES. Although she was only seen in one episode last year, this new season promises to give her fans reason to cheer. The actress has already taped three episodes, and sources close to her say that there will be even more! Tune in to catch her beginning Thursday, February 4, at 10 p.m.

 Psychic Friend Network

Who will Browne come to "see" this time?
According to www.yumasun.com, psychic Sylvia Browne will be returning to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, playing herself for a second guest gig! The famed clairvoyant previously appeared on the soap in 2006, to help Kay remember switching Phillip III with Cane. A spokesperson for Y&R reminds that the soap does not comment on rumors.

 Ex-Lizzie Is Weird!

Hirschlag is starring in one creepy play!
Allison Hirschlag's new role is a far cry from her gig as pampered GUIDING LIGHT princess Lizzie Spaulding: The actress — who is the daughter of ALL MY CHILDREN's Julia Barr (Brooke) — is starring in The Weird, a collection of six short, creepy plays that riff on classic horror movies, urban legends and comic book characters. Based on comic book writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s tome of the same name, The Weird places archetypal characters from tales of terror and fantasy and spins them into even more turmoil. The play runs from Wednesday, February 17, through Sunday, February 21, at the Manhattan Theatre Source in New York City. To purchase tickets, visit www.theatermania.com.

 Star's New Role!

Check out Dolan on the stage!
AS THE WORLD TURNS’ Ellen Dolan (Margo) will star in the play I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan at the Beckett Theatre in NYC from February 11-14. For reservations, E-mail Gannonmd@aol.com.

 GL Alum Joins Cast!

Can Ellis beat Craig in the shady showdown?
Look who is moving to Oakdale! AS THE WORLD TURNS has cast Kurt McKinney (Matt, GUIDING LIGHT) as Ellis, a business partner of Craig's. McKinney is set to debut in the short-term role in mid-February. The new gig reunites McKinney with former GL co-stars Tom Pelphrey (Mick; GL's Jonathan) and Daniel Cosgrove (soon-to-be Chris; GL's Bill).

 Baby On The Way!

There's a lot of baby blue in Gareis' future!
THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Jennifer Gareis (Donna) is going to be a mom! The actress and her fiancé, Bobby Ghassemieh, are pleased to announce that that they are expecting their first child, a boy, in early summer 2010.  “It’s a very special time in our lives,” says Gareis. “Bobby and I would like to thank everyone for all of their support and warm wishes of congratulations.” A spokesperson for B&B says that there are no plans at this time to incorporate the pregnancy into Donna's storyline. Congratulations to the parents-to-be!

 Young Star Takes Off!

Schmidt is taking Noah out of town.
Kevin Schmidt (Noah) has announced via his Twitter and Facebook pages that he will be taking a break from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for the immediate future. "Shooting my last Y&R for a couple months. Gearing up for the new Cartoon Network series, UnNatural History! A huge THANK YOU to the incredible cast & crew as well as the dedicated Y&R viewers/supporters. Look for "Noah" back in G.C. this summer!" Good luck, Kevin!

 Two Roles Recast!

Hagner is passing on the Liberty torch.
Look for two new pretty faces to make their way to Oakdale in March. AS THE WORLD TURNS has tapped Sarah Wilson to take over the role of Liberty from the departing Meredith Hagner. But Jack and Janet aren't the only ones who will find that their little girl looks a bit different: Valentina deAngelis — GOSSIP GIRL's Carmen — makes her debut as Holden and Lily's daughter, Faith. The soap decided to SORAS the role vacated by Ashley Marie Greiner in December.
