C.J. Returns!

Cain.jpg

Mick Cain returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL on Tuesday, December 21 and Wednesday, December 22, reprising the role of Sally and Clarke's son, C.J. Garrison! The owner of the Insomnia coffee shop returns to town to conduct some important business with Stephanie Forrester. "He's supposedly been living up in San Francisco, so you can kind of let your imagination run wild with that one," says Cain. "More than likely, he's opened up some more coffee shops there."

Cain initially joined B&B in 1998 and was last seen on the show in 2007 when he emceed a karaoke night at the café. The actor says his recent return came as an unexpected surprise. "It's funny -- every time I think I've seen the last of C.J., [executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell] gives me a call with a little something for me," he notes. "It's such a cool thing to jump back in there and see everyone."

In addition to sharing scenes with Susan Flannery (Stephanie), Cain was excited to reconnect with his former on-screen love interest Adrienne Frantz (Amber). The actor was also pleased that his scenes included a reference to C.J.'s mom, Sally Spectra (played by the late Darlene Conley). "I don't want to give too much away, but there was a lot of double meaning in C.J. and Stephanie's conversation about Sally," he says. "I think it's really beautiful that's she's still at large somewhere in the world."

Young Is Done SKATING!

SeanYoung.jpg

Sean Young (ex-Meggie, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) is hanging up her ice skates. She and partner Denis Petukhov were voted off the ABC reality series SKATING WITH THE STARS on Monday night. Sadly, the low-scoring couple failed to receive enough viewer votes to keep them in the competition. "It was still a great experience," Young shared with Soaps In Depth after the show. "It was pretty cool that I got out there on the ice and did it. I was a little surprised [that I was voted off first], but TV has nothing but surprises!"

The former Y&R villainess, who took two spills on the ice during her performance, adds, "I just wished I hadn't fallen! It was interesting because the first week I was so concerned about not falling. But once you do, you're not afraid of it anymore."

Young says she's walking away with a great experience under her belt. "I'm in really fit condition now," she says. "I'll take away most my experience with Denis and his wife, [professional skater] Melissa Gregory. They've taught me what being a professional skater would be like even though I'm not one."

Young's former competitors will miss her. "I love that Sean comes right out and says it," shares Jonny Moseley, former skier on the U.S. Olympic team. "She's got great stories. She's a movie star! That's always fun to have around." Adds Brooke Castile, Moseley's pro partner, "She also gave all of the pro girls a gift, leg warmers, on her last day. It was very sweet and thoughtful of her."

So what's next for Young? "A hot tub!" she exclaims with a laugh.
