Riegel Speaks Out In Support Of Homeless Teens

THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Eden Riegel (Heather) has joined forces with Cyndi Lauper, Susan Sarandon, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and Pete Wentz to raise awareness about homeless gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth. The Give A Damn Campaign, a project of Lauper's True Colors Fund, has released its latest video in support of National Runaway Prevention Month, which you can watch above. Each year in the U.S., between 500,000 and 1.6 million youth are homeless or runaways -- and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth make up to possibly 40% of that number.
